Justin's Visit to an ENT

On Justin's last check-up, his pediatrician found impacted earwax. They tried to remove it in the office, but to no avail - we needed to see a specialist.

At the ENT's office, the doctor used many tools to try and remove Justin's earwax, including some kind of suction machine. The earwax wouldn't budge. Justin did very well tolerating the digging into his ear, but enough was enough. We will have to schedule a procedure in the hospital so he can be put under anesthesia.

The ENT also found Justin's tonsils to be very large. As he put it, "Imagine having two golf balls in the back of your throat." The recommendation is to remove both Justin's tonsils and adenoids, in addition to removing the impacted earwax.

We will schedule Justin's surgery next month.
