Sheraton Vistana Resort

We began our morning with breakfast and what was supposed to be a one-hour meeting with a Sheraton representative to “update us on the changes that the resort has made.” It was basically a hard sell for us to buy a newer unit at the resort (they are in the process of remodeling all the villas). The resort itself is very impressive – 135 acres, seven beautiful pools, many lovely lakes, a general store with groceries, several places to eat including Pizza Hut, exercise room, spa, gated entrances, less than 5 minutes to Disney, etc.

We rented a six-person surrey bike and pedaled around the resort. Both Justin and Brian ended up sitting in the front with Kenton and I because they wanted to help steer. Kevin was a strong back seat pedaler. After 15-20 minutes of biking around the resort, we were exhausted. We returned the bike and went out for lunch.

Kevin wanted to swim again, so after lunch we all went to the pool. There was a large waterfall which flowed over one area of the pool, while several fountains jetting up through the air in another area. Christmas music played in the background. We enjoyed ourselves and relaxed there for the remainder of the day.

Kevin gets ready to jump into the waterfall Justin enjoys the fountains in the shallow section of the pool Brian learns to swim Kenton and boys in pool Back at the villa, Justin and Brian play checkers on the game table
