My Mother-In-Law

We spent the whole day together at home with the family. Kenton and his brothers and parents spent most of the day talking. Kenton’s best friend came over in the late afternoon, and we all took turns playing mahjong while my mother-in-law cooked. She is always cooking and cleaning, and doesn’t allow me to help. She even does our laundry. I tell her I can do it, but she tells me she should do it. She has several friends in the area, and they have invited her to come over several times, but she has only gone out once. She tells them that she is busy with family. My father-in-law told me that even three weeks before we came, she didn’t go to any friends’ homes, but stayed at home preparing for our arrival. She and I have three huge things in common – we believe in God, we love Kenton dearly, and we each have three sons.
