Fall Festival At Kevin's School

Kevin’s school had a Fall Festival for the kids in the afternoon. It was more of a field day – the students from K thru 8th grade were in groups of ten and competed against each other. Some of the events were tug of war, egg walk/run, gunny sack race, obstacle course, spider web maze, limbo, balloon pop, pass the pumpkin, and kickball.

I had signed up to help, and was assigned to one of the teams – team #11. Kevin was on the team, so of course I took lots of pictures of him. It was really neat to see how the older kids would help and look after the younger kids on their team. The kids also enjoyed the friendly competition and the afternoon outdoors.

Justin made a Roller Coaster in his class. He posed for a picture with his classmate, Zoe. He told me how he had picked the blue, green, and yellow colors. Every time he brings an art project home, we put it on the door of our ‘activity room.’ As soon as we got home, we hung up his Roller Coaster.

After supper, Kevin had some one-on-one time with Daddy. They went out to practice some tennis. Kevin says that he feels his swings are getting stronger.
