Just Me And The Boys

I felt like I spent a lot of time driving around today. First, I brought Kevin to school. An hour later, Justin, Brian and I took Kenton to the airport (Kenton will be doing some consulting work in Columbus, Ohio for the week). When we got back home, the two boys and I had lunch - then we headed to Justin’s school to drop him off. After some quick shopping, Brian and I went home for naptime.

Brian’s nap was cut short because it was time to pick Justin up from school. Today in school, Justin and his classmates each made a picture of Noah’s ark. Justin said that some of his animal stickers had ‘fallen in the water’ and he had to move them back into the ark. From Justin’s school, we went to pick up Kevin from his school. Justin was so tired that he fell asleep on the way.

During dinner, Kenton called to let us know he had arrived in Columbus. On top of a layover, there was a delay due to thunderstorms, so it was a long day for him. We put him on speakerphone, and he ‘joined’ us for dinner. We were eating and talking to him as if he were at the table.

Then it was the evening routine – baths, cleanup, reading with Kevin, and reading with Justin and Brian. Justin and Brian began reading their books while I was reading with Kevin. I just had to take their picture.
