Just Me And The Boys - Day 2

The highlight of Justin and Brian’s day was going to gymnastics class. The gymnastics area is on the lower level of the sports center. Here is a picture of Justin looking through a window on the main level down into the gymnastics area.

We arrived early so the boys patiently waited for class to begin. They got their little green cards (gym passes) from the front desk and walked down the stairs. Before they entered the gymnastics area, they gave their cards to the instructor. Then they took off their shoes and ran like wild.

The boys spent quite a bit of time on the rings today. The instructor helped the kids hold on to the rings, while they swung back and forth. On the third swing, they had to let go and try to land on their feet.

After a couple of times, both Justin and Brian were hanging on to the rings by themselves. Of course, Brian needed help with getting down, but he tried to do whatever the other kids were doing.

In speech class, Justin worked with the grad student again. She will be teaching him under the supervision of his regular teacher for the next two months. Today they concentrated on words with the letter ‘L’ in the middle. He did excellent with the words that began with ‘L.’
